As a child Tass was raised in an environment of hate, especially for the Jews. He was taught that Jews were evil, had stolen the land they now occupy from the Palestinians, and that all Jews should be annihilated and the land returned to the Palestinian people. He soon joined Arafat’s fighters and became a sniper for the PLO. In 1993, following a move to the US to further his schooling, Tass experienced a radical and miraculous conversion, he became a Christian and gave up the culture of hatred in favor of one of Christian love. Today, in partnership with International Christian Response, Tass’s ministry of reconciliation to Arabs and Jews, Hope for Ishmael, works through humanitarian efforts to reach out to children and families. He also has a vision to expand on the Little Hearts Preschool in the Jewish Quarter near the Old City in Jerusalem. Tass’s story speaks powerfully of the triumph of Love over Hate. No, preregistration is not required. Just come and enjoy. ENTRY FEE Is there an entry fee? Admission is by suggested donation of 2 or more cans of food and/or $2.00 each. FREE DINNER On entrance, you will receive a free dinner ticket good for one meal and one beverage. Meals provided by Dickey's BBQ Pit, El Ranchito Family Mexican Restaurant, and Little Caesars Pizza. OTHER FOOD AND BEVERAGES Hempler's Franks will be available at only $2.00 each all day. Plenty of beverages will also be available. DOOR PRIZES Will there be door prizes? Yes, local businesses have donated some fabulous door prizes to be given away. RAFFLE TICKETS On entrance, you will receive a raffle ticket for door prizes. Additional tickets may be purchased at $1.00 each.     GUESTS May I bring my boys? Yes, absolutely! This event allows boys of any age to experience a smorgasboard of different displays and interactive exhibits. What better place to meet others with like interests who can mentor and encourage them in a positive way. There will be many areas of activities and interests to explore and participate in. We are emphasizing interactive exhibits where you can participate in hands on activities and skill building exercises. Whether your interests are in wood working, martial arts, hot rods, knife collecting, RC hobbies, or even blacksmithing, there is sure to be something for everyone. CHURCH EVENT Is this a church event? Men’s Night Out – All Day is intended to be a time for men of all ages to get together, have fun, interact, and explore the interests they each share. Of course the underlying purpose is to foster lasting relationships, mentoring, and personal responsibility, plus “Make a Difference” to strengthen families and a relationship with God.
